Utilizing BIM for Trade Coordination   Building Information Modeling ( BIM ) is a process that uses 3D models to represent a building or infrastructure project. BIM can be used to improve trade coordination by providing a single source of information for all stakeholders. This can help to identify and resolve conflicts early in the design process, which can save time and money. ➡️ What is BIM? BIM is a process that uses 3D models to represent a building or infrastructure project. BIM models can be used to represent the physical and functional aspects of a project. This information can be used to improve communication, collaboration, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. 🎯 Read More:- What is BIM (Building Information Modeling) & 7 Levels of BIM ➡️ How BIM can optimize trade Coordination It’s useful to look at steps of the coordination workflow from the perspective of the BIM coordinator. Top 6 Challenges of Implementing Artificial Intelligence | Tejjy Inc.

Artificial intelligence is still a buzzing term, though technology rules the realm of today’s market. The expansion in the use of this technology is quite prominent these days.

A Brief about AI:

John McCarthy, the father of Artificial Intelligence, stated that Artificial Intelligence is the science of engineering for creating intelligent machines. Artificial intelligence is associated with machine learning that uses algorithms for determining patterns and generating insights from the data.

However, AI is a controversial topic! Some call it a blessing in disguise for businesses, while some think that technology jeopardizes the existence of humankind. In the future, artificial intelligence would have taken over everyday tasks, leading to people losing out jobs to machines.Even if AI is shaping the future of tomorrow, the technology has some challenges with it.

Let’s take a look at some of the Challenges of Artificial Intelligence:

·         Incompetent at Building Human Trust: AI is associated with science and algorithms, which depends on the technical side. People ignorant of these algorithms and technology behind the working of Artificial intelligence, find it hard to understand the function. Here, artificial intelligence faces the challenges of building trust issues with humans, despite the ability to shorten the tasks.

·         Scarcity of Skills to Read AI Human Interface: The next challenge is ridden in the lack of data science skills within humans for obtaining maximum yield from artificial intelligence. Since there is a dearth of advanced skills, business entrepreneurs are required to train their professionals to leverage the advantages of this technology.

·         High Cost of Investment in AI: One more challenge of artificial intelligence is the investment. Most of business owners or managers are not interested in investing in AI, as the funds required to set up and implement Artificial Intelligence are high.

·         Software Malfunction: No human or technology can be perfect. In the case of software or hardware crash, it’s hard to raise questions about what went wrong. In contrast, if a task is performed by humans, it can be easily traced.

·         All Task Replacements Not Possible with AI: It is a false notion that every task replacement is possible with AI. This is true to a certain extent but replacement of all tasks cannot be undertaken by Artificial Intelligence.AI is more like a tool that facilitates in enhancing the productivity of a task, boosting the performance and efficiency of a worker but not good at replacing everything.

·         Greater Expectations with AI: Artificial Intelligence also has to deal with serious issues with the expectations of the people around them. Common people, don’t have a comprehensive understanding of how the AI functions and hence they have high expectations, which are not always feasible to meet in reality. It should be considered that just like any other technology, certain limitations are also associated with AI.

Final Thought:

Industry expert are optimistic about the fact that artificial intelligence will be the rule of the next era, though there are some challenges that pose a threat for implementing artificial intelligence.
